Book VIP Transfer (700–1,500 DH)Arrange a Private Taxi to Pick You Up
If you want to be picked up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech and brought straight to Amizmiz, we can arrange a private taxi just for you. This is the easiest and most popular method our guests use. The price is normally 500 DH one way (800 DH round trip). For outlying riads or Palmeraie resorts, the round trip may reach 900–1,000 DH. The drive takes 45–55 minutes door-to-door. You pay the driver directly in cash—100% of this payment goes to the local driver with zero markup from us.
Djemaa El Fna Meeting Point (Narrow Medina Streets):
If you are staying at a riad inside the medina near Djemaa El Fna that cars cannot access, your driver will meet you right in front of the central Djemaa El Fna post office building, clearly marked "POSTE MAROC", directly facing the square.
Door-to-Door Service
Professional vetted local driver with modern air-conditioned vehicle.
Book Private Hotel TaxiCome by Taxi on Your Own (Petit Taxi + Grand Taxi)
Step 1: Catch a Petit Taxi in Marrakech
Hail a small yellow metered taxi (Petit Taxi) anywhere in Marrakech and tell the driver to drop you at the "Amizmiz taxi stand" (Bab Er-Rob station). The cost depends on the metered distance. Petit taxis seat up to 3 passengers.
Step 2: Take a Shared Grand Taxi to Amizmiz
At the Bab Er-Rob taxi stand, tell the drivers "Amizmiz" (pronounced AMZ-meez). The cost is 25 DH per person. Grand taxis seat 6 passengers plus the driver and depart as soon as all 6 seats are filled. The scenic highway drive takes about 45 minutes once underway.
Come by Public Bus #45 on Your Own
This is the most budget-friendly option (18 DH each way), best suited for travelers experienced with public transit and good with directions.
Step 1: Finding the Sidi Mimoun Bus Stop in Marrakech
The bus departs from the "Sidi Mimoun" bus terminal near the Koutoubia Mosque. It is a 5–10 minute walk from Djemaa El Fna along the pedestrian path between the Central Post Office (left) and the small triangular park (right).
Step 2: Board Bus #45 to Amizmiz
At Sidi Mimoun, look for Bus #45 (several bus routes share this lot). Bus #45 runs about every 40 minutes and costs 18 DH per person paid on board. Journey time is about 1 hour 15 minutes. We advise arriving at the bus stop 2 hours before your excursion to ensure punctuality.
Step 3: Get Off at the Amizmiz Market & Taxi Area
Amizmiz is the final town on route #45. Do NOT get off at the first stop by the entrance roundabout. Stay on as the bus goes down the hill and crosses the bridge over the river bed into the active market and taxi area (the second-to-last stop). If you miss it, the final terminus is just a 2-minute walk away.
